In addition, we are delivering complete electrical and intelligent building infrastructure from basic design to total deployment. All our solutions are fully based on open protocol system paradigm.

Since its establishment in 1991, the company expressed its determination to deliver top quality equipment and solutions in all aspects of its operation, which is confirmed by ISO 90001: 2000. All our solutions are based at open protocol structures.

The company operates from locations in Zagreb, and currently employs 70 people. The company operates through division structural model as follows: Energy Consulting, Building Automation and Process Automation, (HVAC, energy, lighting, CCTV, switchgear automation, access control), ICT, as well manufacturing equipment and software.

As experts we are able to identify infrastructure needs and solutions and position ourselves in front of investors with clear “Return-Of-Investment” arguments.

GAD Project - Gestion Activa de la Demanda

GAD, a consortium of fifteen Spanish enterprises and fourteen research centres, led by IBERDROLA DISTRIBUCIÓN ELÉCTRICA S.A.U., is putting forward a research project to the Ministry of Science and Innovation, intended to optimise electricity consumption for medium and low-voltage consumers, through innovative Demand Side Management mechanisms. The ultimate aim of the GAD Demand Side Management Project is to optimise electrical energy consumption and the costs associated, while meeting consumer needs and maintaining quality standards.

The GAD Project involves an investment of approximately 23 million euros and sets out from the strategic aim of creating a stable cooperation framework between leading research centres and enterprises, for carrying out outstanding research on an international scale.

HYDRA - Middleware for networked devices

The Hydra project is a 4-year Integrated Project that develops middleware for Networked Embedded Systems. The Hydra project is co-funded by the European Commission.

The Hydra middleware allows developers to incorporate heterogeneous physical devices into their applications by offering easy-to-use web service interfaces for controlling any type of physical device irrespective of its network technology such as Bluetooth, RF, ZigBee, RFID, WiFi, etc. Hydra incorporates means for Device and Service Discovery, Semantic Model Driven Architecture, P2P communication, and Diagnostics. Hydra enabled devices and services can be secure and trustworthy through distributed security and social trust components of the middleware.

The NEM Initiative - European Technology Platform on Networked Electronic Media

Networked and Electronic Media (NEM) is one of the European industrial initiatives, also known as Technology Platforms, established by major key European and global stakeholders. NEM addresses the convergence of media, communications, consumer electronics, and IT as a wide opportunity for future growth, by taking advantage of generalized broadband access, increased mobility, availability of richer media formats and contents, as well as new home networks and communications platforms.

SmartHouse/SmartGrid

The SmartHouse/SmartGrid project sets out to validate and test how ICT-enabled collaborative technical-commercial aggregations of Smart Houses provide an essential step to achieve the needed radically higher levels of sustainability and energy efficiency in Europe. It develops a holistic concept for smart houses situated and intelligently managed within their broader environment. Intelligent networked ICT technology for collaborative technical-commercial aggregations enables Smart Houses to communicate, interact and negotiate with both customers and energy devices in the local energy grid so as to achieve maximum overall energy efficiency as a whole.

eDIANA - Embedded Systems for Energy Efficient Buildings

eDIANA (Embedded Systems for Energy Efficient Buildings) addresses the need of achieving energy efficiency in buildings through innovative solutions based on embedded systems.

The main goal of eDIANA, is to enable sustainable urban life through rationalisation in the use of resources while increasing comfort in urban environments by means of embedded intelligence and integration technologies. The eDIANA approach is to achieve greater efficiency in use of resources, prioritising energy as scarce resource, more flexibility in the provision of resources and better situation awareness for the citizen and for service and infrastructure owners. This will be achieved through the deployment and inter- operation of embedded systems throughout the eDIANA environment of buildings and intra- building units. eDIANA’s main outcome of application is in fact the improved energy efficiency in residential and nonresidential buildings.

iHomeLab at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences

The iHomeLab is the Swiss research laboratory and think tank for smart homes and building automation. The iHomeLab research team performs research under the direction of Prof. Alexander Klapproth in the areas of Smart Metering, Load Management, Human Building Interaction, Energy Consumption Visualization, Ambient Awareness, Indoor Localization, Ambient Assisted Living, Home Network Technologies, Web Enabled Devices, Internet of Things and Embedded Plug & Play Technologies. Research projects are developed in close cooperation with commerce & industry partners and focus on developing next generation homes and buildings that are more energy efficient, comfortable, and safe. Research results and innovative products of the partners are demonstrated to the public within the iHomeLab.

REEB

REEB: The European Strategic Research Roadmap to ICT enabled Energy-Efficiency in Building and Construction

The REEB project is a co-ordinated action addressing the Strategic Objective "ICT-2007.6.3 ICT for Environmental Management & Energy Efficiency". The industrial sector targeted in REEB is the Building & Construction Sector. The project aims at co-ordinating and rationalising current and future RTD in the fields of ICT support to energy-efficiency (EE) in the built environment of tomorrow.

IntUBE

IntUBE (Intelligent Use of Buildings´Energy Information) is a collaborative project co-funded by the European Commission.

It is a well established fact that buildings are one of the major contributors to energy use and CO2 emissions. The energy used in buildings accounts for 40% of the total energy use in Europe. While some breakthrougs are expected in new buildings, the pace of these improvements is too slow considering the EU’S ambitious goal to improve energy efficiency by 20% before 2020.

MonAMI

MonAMI is a research project funded by the EU 6th framework programme IST (Information Society Technologies)

The objective of the MonAMI project is to demonstrate that accessible, useful services for elderly and disabled persons living at home can be delivered in mainstream systems and platforms. This will be done in close cooperation with users and by involving key mainstream actors throughout the whole process.

Beywatch

BeyWatch is a 30-month research project launched in December 2008 supported by the European Commission (DG Information Society and Media) under the EU's Seventh Framework Programme (FP7), aiming at ICT tools for environmental management and energy efficiency.

BeyWatch will develop an energy-aware and user-centric solution, able to provide intelligent energy monitoring/control and power demand balancing at home/building & neighbourhood level.
