About us
The ict for the sustainable homes conference and exhibition is organised by Sigma Orionis, a private company founded in 1984 and operating since then in the Sophia Antipolis science park - often called "the European Silicon Valley" located in the Southeast of France. The company specialies in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) with a focus on Science and Technology, and is proud to offer substantial references for each of its services: business intelligence, technology assessment and product definition, market research and industry analysis, business and cooperation events, back office operations of associations and alliances, preparation of and involvement in EU-funded projects, etc. Sigma Orionis has been organizing business and cooperation events, in the ICT sector in general or focusing on specialized themes, since the mid-nineties. In the last 10 years, Sigma Orionis has organized around 40 such events, in Europe, Asia, sub-Saharan Africa, or Latin and North America, in sizes ranging from tens to hundreds of participants, and in different formats (conferences, forums, workshops, seminars, working groups, exhibitions, etc). Sigma Orionis is coordinating or involved in several research projects funded by the European Commission and addressing the theme of “ICT for sustainable homes”, such as PARADISO, BEYWATCH, and FUTURENEM. Sigma Orionis is also a member of several European Technology Platforms in the ICT area, such as NESSI, NEM, ISI and e-Mobility. |
